Open calculator →About Calcuvelo
Calcuvelo is an independent, ad-supported project that publishes free financial and economic calculators. The tools are split into two groups. The financial calculators handle the everyday money decisions most households face — growing savings, comparing mortgages, projecting a 401(k), financing a car and paying down debt. The economic calculators deal with the forces that shape wealth over the long run — inflation, the time value of money, real (after-tax, after-inflation) returns, converting salaries to hourly wages, and the Rule of 72.
Every result updates the moment you change an input or drag a slider. Each tool includes a chart so you can see the trajectory rather than just a final number, a year-by-year data table for the exact figures, and a Print / Save PDF button that produces a clean one-page report.

Frequently asked questions
Are these calculators financial advice?
No. They are educational tools that apply standard formulas to the assumptions you provide. They cannot see your full financial picture. Consult a licensed financial, tax or legal professional before making decisions.
How accurate are the results?
The math is exact for the inputs you enter, but the inputs themselves — future returns, inflation, tax rates — are uncertain. Treat every output as an estimate and try a range of scenarios.
Do the calculators work on mobile?
Yes. The layout is designed mobile-first and the charts and tables are fully responsive, so every tool works on phones, tablets and desktops.
